Al and the crew got in on thursday morning and we landed the catch that they had for the couple of days, that they managed to snatch.

Whilst we were landed a film crew were down from the BBC, they had been in the area filming the history of fishing and familys at sea and they had got in touch with my Dad and asked if he could help.

The programme goes quite in depth into how diferentfishing familys, have changed their methods of fishing and adapted, so that they have been able to stay in the industry. The producers were also looking at how the knowledge of fishing has been past on generation to generation as well.

They have been helped with some fantastic archive footage, particulary from the Anderson family from Peterhead (Glenugie), who have some great films and photo's from many years back. 

My Dad has enjoyed looking over some of the old photo's and in particular the old St.Ives photo's and ciny film, as that is where our Family origenated from.  There is quite a bit of footage on his of father and my dad when he was much younger and he said it had brought back many happy memories.

It should be on BBC4 sometime next summer.
