Humps and Bumps
Published in Untagged by davidstevensWe sailed on Tuesday afternoon, after landing our fish to PTA. We headed west again to work in an area aptly named 'humps and bumps' because this is what the gear does when we tow here, due to the small sand banks and patches of rough in the area. We had a good trip from here with a nice bit of prime on the ground and I am glad to say that we got around without any damage - thankfully! We landed our catch again last night to PTA after 3 days fishing.
Today we have had a busy day doing repairs on the boat, in particular we had to fix the valve on one of our fuel tanks. This required us to pump the fuel remaining inside it into the other tanks, so that we could remove the old valve and fit the new one.
With that job done, and a few other niggly jobs sorted out, we then iced and grubbed up and have sailed again.............
